Molly Livingstone is joined in-studio by a group of young ballerinas, whose diverse backgrounds don't put a damper on their dancing or shared dreams.
The dancers — Palestinian Maisa Shehadeh, ultra-Orthodox Jew Atara Zaidner, Christian-Arab Jeannette Tannous and new immigrant from Canada Dina Troy — all studying and performing through the Jerusalem Dance Arts Center, talk about their unity in spite of the conflict in the region. They discuss sharing the stage, a passion and a dream. Tal Aviran, co-founder of the center, describes how the studio has grown from its original venue in a living room to a full-fledged dance school, based on discipline and commitment, which has become a second home for many of its students.
