Seth Lipsky on the ‘Remarkable’ US-Israel Confrontation(25:13)
|
VOI's Judy Lash Balint hears from the veteran columnist and New York Sun editor on the Obama administration's attitude towards the Jewish state.
Lipsky tells Judy that the Jewish community is not being oversensitive to the “breathtaking level of rhetoric” surrounding the Obama administration’s efforts to push the Iran deal. Lipsky calls it a “remarkable confrontation.” They also discuss the implications of the probable release of Jonathan Pollard, currently serving a life sentence for transferring classified information to Israel, as well as the recent US Supreme Court ruling that the president has the exclusive power to recognize foreign nations, so Jerusalem may not be listed as part of Israel in the passport of a US citizen born in the city.
