Avner Avraham, a Mossad veteran and the curator of an exhibit on the Entebbe raid, joins VOI's Gil Hoffman to talk about the initiative.
Avraham calls the raid “one of the biggest commando operations in world history.” As it was headed by the late Yonatan Netanyahu, Benjamin Netanyahu’s brother, the prime minister was invited to the opening of the exhibit at the Rabin Center in Tel Aviv — where he had not been welcome for years. This is because the Rabin family believes Netanyahu created the atmosphere that led to his assassination.
