Happily Single?(5:13)
|
On the eve of Tu B'Av, relationship coach Micki Lavin-Pell joins VOI's Molly Livingstone to talk about love.
Tu B’Av is the Jewish holiday of love, when women traditionally dress in white and dance in the moonlight in the hope of meeting a life mate. In modern Israel, it has become more like Valentine’s Day, making singles feel left out. But some people are happy on their own, according to Micki, who is also a marital therapist. She and Molly cite the routine of famed American comedian Aziz Ansari about being single, and the serious points he makes through humor.
