Is the imminent Gaza-bound flotilla a humanitarian mission?
VOI’s Josh Hasten says no. He plays yesterday’s live interview with a Swedish journalist/activist on a boat aiming to become part of the “break the blockade” flotilla, stopping in mid-clip to rant against what he considers to be her “blatant anti-Israel misinformation.”
Then, Josh is joined by Gush Etzion Mayor Davidi Perl to discuss a Supreme Court decision calling for the demolition of 17 homes in the community of Elazar — claimed by Peace Now to be on private Palestinian land. Perl argues that this is actually a politically motivated case, put forth by a group whose ostensible concern for local Palestinians is merely a cover for their wanting Jews our of Judea.
