Knesset insider Jeremy Saltan joins VOI’s Josh Hasten to talk about the crisis in the Foreign Ministry and other Israeli political affairs.
First, Jeremy discusses the fact that Foreign Ministry officials are up in arms over budget cuts. They are also perplexed, he says, that various Israeli consulates are being shut down when Israel’s standing in the world is in trouble.
Then, Jeremy raps a new study claiming that the government is investing more money in the education of children living in “isolated settlements” than in the rest of the country. Jeremy says the study is inaccurate and merely a political ploy against the residents of Judea and Samaria.
Finally, Jeremy explains why the media are obsessed with the question of whether or not former Likud #2 Gideon Sa’ar will be making a political comeback. Jeremy says if he does return, it will not be with a “bang,” but rather with a gradual “whisper.” listen now
