In the summer of that year hundreds participated in a grassroots effort to save the mountains of Efrat from being turned over to the PA as part of the Oslo Accords. Sharon Katz, Marilyn Adler, Nadia Matar and Eve were four of the women to begin the movement, and were soon joined by many others, all spurred into action by the love for the land and nation of Israel. Though the activists were evacuated, the region ultimately remained in Israeli hands — and is today the site of a beautiful Israeli neighborhood. listen now
