Levin, a gay man, sued JONAH — Jews Offering New Alternatives for Healing — an organization that promised to help him become straight through therapy. He and fellow plaintiffs claimed that the therapy was abusive and that there was no actual scientific data to prove it successful. A jury agreed and awarded him damages. He and his attorney, from the Southern Poverty Law Center, discuss the case, and Levin’s experience with “reparative therapy.” listen now
