Sido, currently serving as a consultant for the Society of Threatened people, a Europe-based human rights organization, says that the situation of the Kurds in Syria is dire, as various jihadist elements are threatening their lives. Sido is most concerned about Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and wants Israel to urge the Obama administration not to make compromises with Turkey when it comes to the safety and security of the Kurds in the region.
