VOI’s Dov Lipman is joined by Miriam Moshkovski, a lone soldier from New York. She explains why she moved to Israel, why she chose to serve in the IDF, and how her parents dealt with this decision.
Then, Dov is joined by Saleem Kadoor, a national leader in the Israeli Druze community, about the Druze community in Syria, which fears being slaughtered by ISIS. Kadoor discusses his community’s demands for the Israeli government to take action.
Then, Dov is joined by Yisrael Shapira, grandfather of 11-year-old Ayala, critically wounded in a terrorist attack in December. He describes what Ayala has been going through since that night when a firebomb was hurled at her father’s car, and her quality of live at this time.
Finally, Dov reflects on his interview with Shapira, and speaks about the weekly Torah portion — focusing on Moses not being allowed to enter the land of Israel.
