Dr. Haim Gertner, Director of the Yad Vashem Archives Division, who is in charge of the largest collection of Holocaust documentation in the world, advises VOI's Judy Lash Balint on what to do with family artifacts saved from the Holocaust. With survivors dying in growing numbers, Dr. Gertner says the importance of preserving the belongings that tell their stories takes on new urgency.
