Lior Tal, founder of Rep’nUp — a Jerusalem-based, JVP-funded company — joins Simcha in-studio to talk about the “reputation-management” space his start-up occupies. What he and his team do is “clean” the social-media slate for job-seekers, who may have been on dating sites, commented inappropriately about something or worn a skimpy bikinis — things that could cost them a coveted place of employment. This is Lior’s fourth start-up (he is a seasoned entrepreneur with a high tech background). His first was a cybersecurity company for which he raised $20 million and then sold a few years later to IBM for $250 million.
