How to Find Joy in the Midst of Mourning

Though larger than life, Reb Michael Golomb passed away yesterday. His funeral was an event of mourning unlike any other. As hundreds of people stood in the cold rain crying over the loss of their friend and teacher, together with his wife and sons, they sang a joyous song about the Jewish month of Adar through their tears. VOI's Ari Abramowitz and Eitan Press, who attended the funeral, discuss the special spiritual quality connected with Adar that gives the Jewish people the strength to find joy, even in the midst of darkness.
