ISIS, Hezbollah and the Assad regime continue to ravage Syria.
VOI’s Dan Diker and Arab affairs analyst Bassem Eid weigh the options for ordinary Syrians caught in the crossfire of the terror war. Dan is also joined via phone by two Syrians now living in the US: Sherkoh Abbas, president of the Kurdistan National Assembly of Syria; and Farid Ghadry, president of the Reform Party of Syria. They both say that the regime and radical opposition can and must be confronted by moderate local forces, such as the Kurds and the Free Syrian Army, but require backing from the US, which they claim, has failed to support moderate alternatives to ISIS, Al-Qaeda and the Syrian regime.
