Brig. Gen. Lapid: Now is Time for Dialogue with Palestinians

Brigadier General (Res.) Ephraim Lapid, one of Israel's top authorities in public and military affairs, tells VOI's Josh Hasten that now is the time for Israel to initiate a certain process of dialogue with the Palestinians and says that Israel is currently "paralyzed" when it comes to the road to peace. Lapid suggests that Israel needs creative ideas to quell the violence and insists that Israel shouldn't wait for the Palestinians to officially recognize Israel as the State of the Jewish People before agreeing to dialogue.
