Ohana, a right-wing activist and proud member of Israel’s gay community, tells Gil Hoffman how he got a step closer to the Knesset on Thursday.
“There is no contradiction between supporting LGBT rights and being right wing,” says Amir Ohana, who came closer to entering the Knesset with Thursday morning’s passage of the so-called Norwegian Law. “It’s not a matter of Right and Left,” he says. “It’s a matter of Right or wrong.” Ohana talks about Thursday’s Jerusalem Pride March and how he hopes to fight for gay rights in the Knesset. listen now
