VOI's Mottle Wolfe shares a story of a life saved at a Grateful Dead concert in Chicago this weekend.
This weekend the Grateful Dead played their final three concerts at Soldier Field in Chicago. The last of these corresponded with the 17th of Tammuz, a day of national mourning for the Jewish people. This posed a conflict for Jews who wanted to observe the fast day yet attend the concert. One such Jew, a doctor, opted for the latter, and ended up rescuing another concert-goer, who almost died.
