5 Reasons to Oppose the Nuclear Deal(10:11)
|
VOI's Dov Lipman gives his take on the agreement reached last week between the P5+1 and Iran.
He lists five primary problems with the deal: the breakout time to nuclear weapons if Iran chooses to violate the agreement; the 24 days Iran will have to clean up nuclear sites prior to inspection; the lack of oversight over the $150 billion, which the deal allows Iran now to utilize as it sees fit, and which will likely be used to fund terrorism; the fact that restarting the sanctions if Iran breaks the deal will not be automatic but via a committee that includes Russia and China; and the fact that the “moderate” Arab states are against it. Dov also names the Democratic US senators whom he believes Americans should be pressuring into voting against the agreement.
